Pork Butt Bone-In

I bought this with the idea of slow cooking it in the slow cooker, to make Carnita's. The piece of roast was bigger than I thought, so I cut it in half and made the recipe. Once cooked the fat had rendered down and the meat was juicy, the bone fell right out and meat pulled apart easily. It was delicious! Easily a new family favorite!! The best part was that I still had a large enough section of pork left over for a whole other meal. I will be ordering this again really soon!

So happy with this pork shoulder we received and it cooked up into the most delicious roast — juicy and tender, and impressive for guests, yet so easy. Lots of leftovers that became tasty tacos, cubanos, bbq steamed baos and more. Price is very fair compared to other local butchers too. We are really pleased and adding it to our regular rotation of our Sunday roast dinners.
